Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Draft: have this reviewed by a legal advisor before launch.

1. Failed transactions

If a recharge or bill payment fails at the operator or biller, the full amount is credited back to the retailer’s wallet automatically and immediately.

2. Pending transactions

The system checks pending transactions automatically. If the final result is a failure, the amount is refunded. Most transactions resolve within minutes, and at most within 48 hours.

3. Successful transactions

Successful recharges and bill payments cannot be cancelled. PoojaPay1 is not responsible for successful transactions made to a wrong number.

4. BBPS complaints

If a successful BBPS payment is not updated with the biller, raise a complaint from the app. It will be resolved within NPCI’s defined timelines.

5. PAN applications

If the applicant does not complete e-KYC/e-Sign within 24 hours, the fee is refunded automatically. Fees are non-refundable once the acknowledgement has been generated.

6. Wallet balance

On account closure, the remaining wallet balance is refunded to the retailer’s registered bank account after KYC verification.
